Emerald Staffing started with a phone call from a friend.
He was the CEO of a growing small business, and he needed a CFO — fast. He'd already tried a few staffing agencies and walked away frustrated: generic candidates, high fees, and no sense that anyone actually understood his company. So he called Hannah instead.
That one hire turned into staffing two new office locations end to end — everything from admin to GM — and then a full clean-up of how the company managed its people. Watching him get to focus on running his business, while someone he trusted handled the hiring behind the scenes, is what turned into Emerald Staffing.
We don't run one candidate pipeline and reuse it across every client. We work closely with a select few companies at a time, get to know your business the way an in-house recruiter would, and stay with you from your first hire to your fiftieth — your smallest role to your most important.
Founded by sisters Hannah Aulet and Hayden Felton, Emerald Staffing is a family business, built to feel like an extension of yours.
who we are
We're Hannah and Hayden — sisters, business partners, and the entire team behind Emerald Staffing. Hannah spent 10 years in recruiting, mostly in-house, with a background that also runs through accounting, IT/software, and fashion. Hayden brings 5 years of agency recruiting experience — the side of the business Hannah hadn't worked as deeply — and joined full-time in the last year, turning Emerald Staffing from one person's side project into a real partnership. Together, we cover more ground than either of us could alone, and we like it that way.

Hannah spent 10 years recruiting in-house across accounting, tech, and fashion — and a lot of construction and MEP more recently. She started Emerald Staffing after helping a friend's company hire a CFO, and kept going.

Hayden has 5 years of agency recruiting experience, with a specialty in light industrial, office staffing, pharma, and — alongside Hannah — construction. She joined as a full partner in the last year, and the two now run Emerald Staffing together.
